For the second straight year, DJ Noodles has been recognized as the 2009 Mixshow DJ Of The Year at the S.I.N. Radio Awards, held in New York City on December 3rd 2009. After spending the first half of the year dominating ratings in his hometown of Buffalo, NY at Urban 93.7 WBLK, Noodles made the move to Tampa, FL to Rhythmic Wild 94.1 WLLD. Now heard 6 days a week, including M-F mornings for the Blast Off Mix inside the “Orlando and The FreakShow” morning show, rotating Bomb Squad slots @ 5 and 9PM M-F and Saturday Afternoons, Noodles brings Fix Your Face Radio to Tampa, highlighting his world-famous remixes and breaking new music. DJ Noodles was voted the 2009 winner by nationwide program directors, music directors, mixers, and record label reps from all the major labels. Last year, DJ Noodles was also awarded 2008 Mixshow DJ Of The Year.
ABOUT THE AWARDS— The S.I.N. Awards, established in 1994, is a yearly tradition to help recognize individuals in the radio and record business who excelled in their specific area of expertise or made an impact as up and coming Music Industry professionals. The S.I.N. Awards acknowledge individuals among their peers as Award Nominees as well as honoring those who shined the brightest over the course of the year as S.I.N. Award Winners. Each December, New York City hosts the Annual S.I.N. Awards Ceremony which brings members of the Radio and Record Label communities together for an opportunity to network and recognize these individuals in person and among their peers
